Law and Humanities Institute Subjects offered

Whatever level you are at we can support your legal  studies journey. As an academic lawyer with 10 years experience of teaching  law at  the Open University, and as a sitting presiding justice in the family courts, not only will you be supported by a tutor who is experienced across the main vocational law courses for LLB (England and Wales)  but who is also up to date with civil procedure and the the new SQE requirements. If studying law for the first time at A'level or below, you will be in safe hands in terms of mastering  constitutional, criminal, tort and contract to excel at whatever level you are at.  

As a senior examiner for history A'levels  and GCSEs  with a national exam board for  over 14 years, you will have  the support of a subject expert who also has a first class degree. You will be provided with all the tools and exam skills that you  need to become confident in your subject area and perform at the highest levels when it comes to public exams. 

Having supported A'level students, undergraduates and post graduates in this ever changing and evolving subject  for over 12 years, with students  consistently reaching the highest grades available, you cannot fail to improve and progress your competence in this subject. Politics requires an addiction to news, current affairs and world events but also an ability to be able to articulate views and write persuasively  using the art of the essay.  

Whether it's struggling to understand poetry, get your head around Shakespeare or Orwell, or decipher Chaucer or Larkin, you will be supported by tutors passionate in this subject who are themselves subject specialists. This subject has been supported by the Law and Humanities tutors for over 5 years since it has become increasingly popular since the new syllabus was launched. A new subject that the institute is now offering.  With a young dynamic tutor who has recently studied philosophy at university level, you will be inspired and encouraged to think 'outside' the box and find new ways of decoding the canon of philosophers over the past 500 years.
